GOTR Coach

Coaching a Girls on the Run program is the most rewarding way to get involved. Volunteer Coaches serve as role models and mentors for the girls who participate in GOTR programs.

At each program location, ___ female coaches deliver the GOTR curriculum, twice a week for an hour and ___ min to groups of ___ girls. Coaches are not required to be runners, they simply must be passionate about the mission of Girls on the Run, committed to working with a group of girls throughout the 10-12 week season and able to bring energy and joy to each practice.

Apply to Be a GOTR Coach

Thank you for your interest in becoming a coach for Girls on the Run. The GOTR program is for girls, ages 8-12. It is first and foremost about character development and uses running and an engaging curriculum to help teach the lessons that develop a girl’s sense of confidence and self esteem.

Our program is offered in the Spring and Fall seasons. The season runs for ___ weeks, with the girls meeting twice a week for an hour and __ min each session.

Girls on the Run strives to have our programming be consistent, providing the best possible experience for each girl. Our coaches are the most integral part of making that happen. We ask that you truly consider the requirements listed below prior to making the commitment to be a coach mentor to a team of young girls. Please complete the information and check each box as an indication that you have considered and agree to the items as noted. Your application will be forwarded to our Program Manager who will follow up with you shortly.
